I came across your blog looking up radiotherapy to the brain as my Mum is about to start this for ten sessions. I have a lot of admiration for you. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI hope all is going well with your Mum's radiotherapy sessions. My advice is to try and stay as positive as possible. Radiotherapy can cause the recipient to feel off-colour, but don't assume that it will. The power of suggestion can make it a self-fulfilling prophecy. I took it one step further and stubbornly denied that it would make me feel sick. It seemed to work (probably through dumb luck more than anything!) up until the last few days of the 6 weeks of daily treatments.
ReplyDeleteAll the best!
